Bourbon BBQ Mayhem is a high-energy, two-day event at the premiere Harley-Davidson dealership in Kentucky, Bluegrass Harley-Davidson. This event brings together the electrifying world of combat sports with the smoky, flavorful artistry of competitive barbecue. Bourbon, BBQ and Mayhem is set to become the premiere annual destination experience, the event will hightlight:
The Venue
Bluegrass Harley-Davidson
Louisville’s premier Harley dealership will be transformed into a festival ground filled with live music, legendary barbecue, top-shelf bourbon, and hard-hitting fights under the lights.
The Rules
- All Participants must be registered prior to event no later than 8/6/25
- All Participants must be of Amateur Status & have NEVER Competed in any Professional sanction organizations such as KCBS, MBN, FBA, SBN or IBCA
- Teams cannot consist of no more than (4) Members
- Each Team will get (2) Proteins provided by Organizers (Chicken Wings & Pork Tenderloin)
- All Teams will start at 4pm & must have presentations turned in at 6pm with (5) small plate entrees per protein
- Each plate will be judged on Appearance, Taste & Tenderness on a 1-5 Scale basis (1 worst to 5 best)
- Prizes will be awarded to 1st thru 3rd place participants

Friday
August 8
5PM - 11PM | BBQ Meet & Greet (Free and open to the public)
Enjoy BBQ from 7 pitmasters from around the country while listening to live music. All proceeds from the sale of BBQ will go to Operation BBQ relief, an organization that supports communities hit hard by natural disasters. Louisville's own celebrity Chef John Railey will also hold a casual meet and greet for BBQ enthusiast and fans.
Saturday
August 9
4PM - 11PM | National BBQ Showdown
The official Amateur BBQ competition kicks off at 4pm with turn-ins at 6 pm and awards presented at 7PM. You can also come and taste delicious BBQ from our 7award winning pitmasters. There will be live music and Louisville's own Celebrity Chef John Railey will be taping several episodes of his hit TV show Chopping It Up With Chef.
7PM - Close | Saturday Night Boxing
Featuring Louisville's undefeated heavyweight champion Tim "mayhem" Motenas as he takes on 5-2 heavyweight from Mexico City, Mexico, Sergio Castro. Also on the card will be Daniel Ivonvski, the #2 ranked cruiserweight from Israel. He takes on an undefeated Anthony Price who has all of his wins by knockout. Rosa Torres, the #2 ranked superfeather in the nation will put her undefeated record on the line, and the #1 ranked cruiserweight from Costa Rica, Sebatian Berrocal will make his US debut.
